We have developed and deployed several Maritime vessel vetting applications, in partnership with Atlantic Technical Management of Philadelphia PA. These applications have supported the global chartering operations for energy companies such as Sunoco, PBF Energy, Merrill Lynch Commodities, JP Morgan Ban and many others.

Atlantic Technical Management specializes in vessel inspections for the maritime shipping industry, and the vetting applications allow chartering agents to search for vessels by name or IMO number and check the recent vetting history and acceptance status prior to formalizing charter agreements.

 

Agents can request full or partial vessel screenings with the click of a button, and duty watch personnel are notified by mobile phone the instant the request is initiated.  All message traffic between vetting personnel and charter agents are internally managed within the system.

The vetting sites were originally developed in the early 2000s, using Macromedia/Adobe ColdFusion. In 2020, the sites were rewritten to use Microsoft ASP. Net Core 5. Recent application updates are using .NET 8. The DBMS is Microsoft SQL Server.
